tacky sweater will party

saturday nights usually consist of spending hours looking through my closet to find something to wear, only to end up with the entire contents of my closet strewn across my bedroom floor. this saturday however that was not the case.
B informed me that we had been invited to a tacky christmas sweater party. and anyone who reads this should consider having one of those. think of the 1st grade teacher you had, and what she would wear as the holidays approached...red sweater with frosty and friends enbroidered, and maybe, just maybe some part of the sweater lit up, or played a carol. and don't forget the classic bell earrings, and button covers...does anyone remember button covers? all the aforementioned things were fair game at saturdays party, and i have to say even big tough jock boys got into the tacky spirit. some of my favorite boys there had been on a sweater hunt at the famous store goodys...goodys i think should just be considered tacky sweater mecca. they chose to don tacky sweater vests with no shirts on underneath....ohh la la...now that is sexy. others who were on a budget merely turned regular sweaters inside out and stapled things like holly, stockings, or any other christmas decor they had lying around there house. all in all everyone participated, and came out with there tacky best. Heres to theme parties, and not having to worry about what to wear...and heres to all the people who will continue to throw the parties where we can go and dress like assholes.
